Tropical Fish and Aquarium Information ...Hi, We noticed these red spots (more like blotches) develop on this fish . my high fin tetras just died on me! water tamp is 76F, only 2 for my nitrates and 0 everything else. Resolved Question: Does anyone have a Freshwater Green Sunfish?

So anyhow I was wondering if anyone else had one and some of there behaviors are etc. So far I have found that it was very shy at first, then mildy agressive and now is aggressive and will eat anything is can fit in its mouth. I have a lot of experience with all kinds of freshwater fish and some saltwater; banned shark, grouper, clown etc, but i've never owned a freshwater green sunfish. I was just wondering if anyone here has a green sunfish. When I put them into my within minutes they started locking jaws like a Cichlid does and I had to quickly take one out . I found them at walmart mixed in with some comets, no one knew what they were at walmart but I did some research when I got home and found out its a "green sunfish". It also will not anything but frozen foods its very picky! Yeah I thought about legal stuff to. I still haven't seen anything about it being illegal where I live but I will be aware of it. Although I find it very odd that you could eat one, but not keep one as pet.....strange hahahaha.I bought it at a walmart near my house, the girl said that they get them all the time in with the feeder goldfish, so she just charged me that price (she didn;t know what is was and at the time I did either). I didn't see anything about it where I live. I've had the one in my tank for about a month & a half and its growing fast. Hi! I have 2 one that lives in a aquarium inside and the other outside a pond. Resolved Question: I am a novice to freshwater aquariums, would like to have rainbow shark, please advice on tank mates.?

any advice would be lots appreciated!! I have unstylish treating my goldfish for an internal bacteria, only a pet shop bought treatment, and my fish seemed to respond to it and I thought she was accomplishment well but tonight shes really bad the red she initially had on her body is lots worse, its near her face, on her underside, and some odd bits on her tail, I anticipate she got the disease from a new goldfish I bought that died a few days after I brought it condo, I stripped the tank have cleaned all things thoroughly and have put aquarium salt in and have treated the tap water, Im unsure whether or not I should get her out of the tank into some safe tap water, or would that be too stressful?? Resolved Question: Are Goldfish Carnivorous? Are They Cannibals? Am I a cannibal fish magnet?!?! Last week I bought two goldfish. After a few weeks I was left with only one goldfish. No little golden body party anywhere. It was very perceptible that that goldfish ate all of the others and it wasn't some disappearing fish disease due to he lasted for a couple dotage. I can't good buy anything on the internet on that...I've controled all almost the desk and the floor thinking perhaps he jumped out and I can't pride him. So I got up there are looked into the bowl and constant satisfactory there was only one fish. TWO and put them in a cute little bowl on my desk. Today I suddenly realized that up the last week when I take a glance at the bowl I've only olden seeing the one with the spots on it's tail. There are no heads, fins or gills in sight so If the guy with the spotted tail did eat the poor fellow he ate the whole thing. I'm only asking that considering 3 elderliness ago I had a medium sized aquarium full of gold fish and little by little they started to disappear. dupe thing..

The tank has black sand and black background. It only dumps one dwarf puffer. So should i get a 15 or 25 watt bulb? Resolved Question: Goldfish aquarium help!? I tank looks ugly and lacking. I dont thirst hte stupid artificial background. Give me some suggestions, tips and etc!Please avail me set it up well. I have neon gravel mixed with blue gravel. I have a 10 gal with a baby fantail. I will remove the blue one too, so please comfort me invent it look naturallly boss. The back of the aquarium has plain blue craft paper.
